rsc december: a mostly motown christmas
This December I want to bring you all with me on a journey through one of my favorite aspects of the Holiday season: making and keeping them Black. I can remember being in a car in 8th grade or so and hearing The Temptations version of “Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” When that “Hey, Rudolph!” adlib came in it was over for me. I bought a one-way ticket to Motown Christmas season and never looked back. Anyone around me can attest to this. It’s not a game. Join me in listening to and discussing Christmas music by several Black artists with special attention paid to Motown. The playlist will be updated in December!

rsc november: redo meeting
This meeting got postponed due to several cancellations and the time period being overwhelming for a lot of us. But it is not forgotten! The meeting has been moved to the end of the November so we can celebrate Chadwick Boseman’s Birthday (November 29th).
comfort crates w/kalhina creations
Comfort Crates is a collaborative event presented by Kalhina Creations and Inclined by Sai. We will be sharing recipes and music inspired by Black and Latinx ancestry. We invite you to listen to the music and have some of the recipes prepared for the zoom call as we can discuss and share ways we all individually connect with our heritage through food, music, and other joy practices.
