I created Embers and Eons because I am forever indebted to the histories, currents and futures of those the Black and queer folks who came before me, the ones who are with me now and the ones to come after me. Black queer and trans folx are the nexus of Black and it is imperative we celebrate ourselves as such. Those who know me know that I am here to tell stories, and Embers and Eons is one of the ways I will do that. The first issue of the zine is up and we are working on our next.
