FAQs

what is Rhythm Supper Club?

Rhythm Supper Club is a monthly music listening club. Supper clubs are dining establishments where the goal is to not only eat, but to commune with others sharing the experience with you. RSC takes from that tradition by centering music as food for the spirit and creating a community to share it with.

how much does rSC Cost?

RSC is free to join. Please note, however, I accept donations. Even though this is a labor of love, it is still labor. Inclined by Sai is a developing brand with many great things on the horizon and as such, monetary gifts are supremely welcomed and appreciated!

what will we listen to?

Simply put? A bunch of shit. Any who knows me personally knows that my deepest inclination is to celebrate Black culture in all of its elements, so be prepared for a wealth of music created by Black people. Additionally, we will be listening to music made by various artists of all backgrounds, cultures, eras and genres. I will curate a theme and set of materials each month and go from there.

What is the best way to keep up with the club

Why a music listening club?

Music is an aspect of life that unites people across time and space. Right now, we have the ability to easily listen to music from years ago just like we can listen to music that was put out minutes ago. My goal with Rhythm Supper Club is to create a community where we can learn more about the music we have at our fingertips. RSC encourages curiosity, musical obsession and deeper inquiry into all of the social, historical and technical elements of the musical works we listen to. Though this community is an open space to talk about the month’s theme and materials, it is also a space to swap recommendations of all kinds (more music, books, shows, and more) with the community. We are healing and prioritizing joy with all of ours senses.
