when i say i work in service of the culture i mean…

this labor is my offering to the past, present, and futures of the communities I am devoted to.

-— Sai

My path hasn’t been a straight line—it’s moved between classrooms, community spaces, and the front lines of direct service. That mix is exactly what I bring to my work now.

Spending years supporting transitional-aged youth navigating housing instability taught me something that no amount of theory can: how to build trust when people are hurting, and how to show up consistently. That experience grounded me. It gave me the patience to listen first and the resilience to handle the messy, human side of coordination.

My background is rooted in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, which shapes how I look at media, identity, and representation. As an adjunct professor, I continue to explore these themes in the classroom, but my real focus is on bringing that analysis into the world. Whether it’s curating listening sessions for diasporic sounds or contributing to publications that center Black and queer narratives, I’m always looking for ways to highlight stories that are often sidelined.

Through Inclined By Sai, I operate as an educator, curator, and creative producer. My work spans consulting, creative production, and teaching—bringing strategic insight to the table while maintaining precision in the execution. I design culturally grounded programs and facilitate workshops, but I also roll up my sleeves and handle the logistics—the vendor calls, the scheduling, the on-site execution. I want to create spaces where people feel truly seen, not just managed.

If you’re looking for someone who understands the weight of the work and isn’t afraid to do it, let’s talk.

let’s talk

Shoot me a message to work together. Whether it’s consulting, creative production or teaching, collaboration is my favorite part of the work.
